DIP2X-PCIE4XG210

Dual Internal PCIe x2 to PCIe x4 Gen 2 Switch Host Card

DIP2X-PCIE4XG210|Dual Internal PCIe x2 to PCIe x4 Gen 2 Switch Host Card
Introduction

DIP2X-PCIE4XG210 is Two Internal PCIe x2 to PCIe x4 Gen 2 Switch Host Card.

Utilizing the standard PCI Express Switch, the 8-Lane/3-Port PCI Express Gen 2 (5 Gbps) Switch provides the most efficient fan-out solution for the following configuration:

The DIP2X-PCIE4XG210 provides one upstream port supporting x4, and two downstream ports that support x2 operation. The flexible upstream port provides users the flexibility to expand or fan-out from a wide range of x86, ARM, MIPS, PowerPC SoC/Chipset, and it is a suitable solution for Embedded, Storage, HBA, Combo card, Surveillance, wired/ wireless Networking, and other applications.

Computer Platform Requirements Desktop computer equipped with a PCIe 2.0/3.0 x4, x8, x16 slot
Computer Platform
  • Computer with PCI Express slot (x4, x8, x16)

Note:
For the best performance (5.0 Gbps), It should be installed in a PCIe Gen 2 compliant slot in the host computer.  Most computers have PCIe Gen 2 (5.0 Gbps) throughput on x4, x8 or x16 slots.
A PCIe Gen 1 compliant slot reaches up to 2.5 Gbps throughput
