Introduction

U31-NVMe&S12E is an USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10Gbps) to SFF-8639 (NVMe & SATA) Storage Adapter. It uses for external USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10Gbps) NVMe SSD & SATA HDD/SSD application without additional driver.
The U31-NVMe&S12E has an USB 3.2 Gen 2 Standard Micro-B UFP (Upstream Facing Port) and a SFF-8639 Connector DFP (Downstream Facing Port) for connecting all kind of U.2 NVMe SDD or SATA HDD/SSD. The high performance USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10Gbps) interface can connect to any super speed plus/ super speed/ high speed or full speed USB host or USB hub and can instantly be detected as "USB Attached SCSI (UAS) Mass Storage Device".
The SFF-8639 Connector DFP (Downstream Facing Port) will allow you to install either U.2 NVMe SSD or SATA HDD/SSD.
You also can install M.2 SSD (NVMe or SATA) with the help of M.2 to SFF-8639 Plug Adapter (M2-8639M). With the help of PCIe Slot to SFF-8639 Plug Adapter (PCIE-8639M) you also can install PCIe NVMe SSD.
U31-NVMe&S12E provides a switch which allow user to set the function for selecting Write Protection (Read-only) or Read / Write.
